If you're under warranty it shouldn't cost you anything. I got mine replaced twice because of this issue with the exact same problems everyone is having. Stop and go traffic, aggressive driving, pretty much when ever you use it a lot in hot weather or when you're driving aggressive and it heats up.

Luckily the part isn't expensive at all http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/part...layCatalogid=0
IIRC, it's a 1.5 hour job so your lookin at $200-$240 (depending on your area) installed. Also people have said upgrading your clutch line to a stainless steel one helps a lot.

Just search how to change a brake line. Its pretty much the same thing only it connects to your tranny. And make sure you use a flared end wrench when removing the hose from the line.

just had this problem after sitting in traffic for an hour in 96* heat. Good to know it's not my clutch wearing out. Bad to know that it's not covered under Powertrain Warranty considering it's part of the powertrain/drivetrain. bleh.
So SS clutch line, and DOT4 fluid? How do we check if the Master or the Slave cylinder is shot?

This happened to me the other day while I was at school and isn't the first time. Its almost random. It was about 90 degrees and I was on my way to school. Its about a 30 minute, 90% highway trip and there was no traffic. Well after about the 25 minute highway drive, I get off on my exit and push in the clutch just to find that it sticks about half way out....After driving on the highway!!? Well I keep driving and of course it gets worse because im in some slight stop and go traffic. I get to school, park the car, and go to move on with my college life. Well 2 days later I have to go to the bookstore off campus to get some books for class. When I get in my car, the clutch pedal is stuck on the floor?? It was not like that when I parked it two days earlier. I pushed on it repeatedly and it would not come off the damn floor. So i start the car, hoping it wouldnt stall(It doesnt), and it still doesnt come up. But thats not it. Now my shifter is stuck in second gear(thats where i put it when i park) meanwhile the clutch pedal is still stuck to the floor(even after some pumps attempting to free it). Well I give the shifter a firm push/hit and it pops into neutral and the clutch pedal rises back up. This is so weird. I pump the clutch and it sticks a little but slowly goes back to normal. Keep in mind the two days it sat, it was about 90-95 degrees on the black pavement.
(Also, when I popped the shifter into neutral the rpms rose to about 2k for like 4 seconds then went back down to the normal cold start idle of 1500.)
