Sup guys? I got a 05 g35 coupe that needs a new clutch. Just wondering what you guys would recommend. Didn't really want to spend to much and also do I have to replace the fly wheel? Thx

Though I have run our Super-Twin in the past (and thoroughly liked it) I recently fitted my personal car with a Stage 2+ clutch and steel flywheel. Though the steel is a bit heavier it is great for a daily driven car and the gear noise is reduced relative to the increased dampning nature of steel. The weight for the steel is about 28-lbs and the aluminum is about 13-lbs. Both are in use on the street but it comes down to personal preference as to the one that's right for you. Wow! so you steel is the same weight as the stock dual mass (27.6 lb)?
Is it as quiet as stock?
Your aluminum at 13 lbs would be way to light (for me anyway) as a daily driver but probably great for a racer.

Yes it is similar in weight to the OE unit, though it is a single-mass flywheel. Clatter, which is the sound associated with the move to a single-mass flywheel on cars originally equipped with a dual-mass from the factory, really isn't bad at all when using our steel option. There is a bit of noise, under high gear low RPM (read high-load) situations but overall it is much quiter than a comparable aluminum flywheel. I really like the feel (relative to mass/inertia) of the steel flywheel and our stage 2+ clutch better than the super-twin. The car seems a bit more responsive due to the impact that inertia has on acceleration especially on a full weight car. It still comes down to usage and intent but I think the steel flywheel is great!

I am wondering in putting a really high performance clutch on my g35, i am wanting to put a Exedy Racing Carbon Triple Disc Clutch. I was wondering if anyone can help me in knowing if this a really good clutch or if there is something better, i am building my g35, i am waning to put out 800hp so i need a very good clutch anyone let me know thanks.
