RPM's at 80 MPH

Look on car-part.com. You'll find them far cheaper and more plentiful than sourcing from either here or my350z.com. There are about 20 of them within 100 miles of Kansas City with prices ranging from $175 to 250. I'll be getting a 3.3 VLSD in the spring. Buying from a local and reputable scrap yard will allow to verify both mileage and if it truely is a VLSD.

You forget, OC lacks the ability to apply logic or basic reasoning. You MUST use the EXACT term or else face a tonque lashing you Noob. Odd though, he uses the term "pumpkin" quite often even though the correct term is "carrier case". Interesting.

using a different term for the same part is one thing... saying you want a new differential to create a fix for loss of cc (as it pertains to this topic) isn't the same.
So as usual - you're applying an entirely obscure principal to a conversation that isn't even about that.
Funny how the guy I was discussing it with gets it - and you don't (actually it doesn't surprise me).
BTW, FSM calls it "Gear Carrier" not "carrier case" - at least get something right

but instead of understanding the bigger picture - dave wants to start a debate with irrelevance.

btw, I typically just say "rear-end" as generic term.
