Ya, guess it would need some testing. How would you program the microcontroller?

good luck with tricking the ECU... the good thing is its an older version so your chances are probably better than the newer ones... but the ECU and BCM on these cars are very finicky and throw fits when you mess with them... expect many gremlins.

^True, but you don't have to trick the newer ones, after all, yours doesn't have that problem... then again, it is a G39

I only meant, what type of algorithm are you thinking of? when speed > 85 MPH then send 1.05% of sensor value?

Sortof something to that extent. (though 3.3->3.5 would be 1.06) but yeah, that's the idea.

^Ah didn't realize the exact ratios (obviously I would look into that in more detail when I actually designed the program)

^ 1.0539171879654453380994935954721

I'll be sure to enter this EXACT value into the programming

While we're on the subject, where is a good place to find the exact ratio of each FD?

I have 3.3 (3.357) 3.5 (3.538) and 3.7 (3.692) memorized... from various forum research over the years... I cant remember 3.9 and 4.01 though (I have to look for those - I used to know them, but dont remember right now)

I'm sure a Google search will yield results though.

Edit: here's one (for 3.3 & 3.5): http://www.infinitihelp.com/models/2...ifications.htm

to be perfectly accurate you would need to count the # of teeth in the ring and pinion of each gear set. Divide the # of teeth in the ring by the # of teeth in the pinion and you have your exact ration.
