AT to MT swap list. please help
in the next year I plan on accommodating parts to change my car from 03 AT sedan to 6MT.
I just have some questions and want to make sure I am on the right track....
So far for parts :
Manual transmission CD009
( Would the 350z, G35 Coupe CD009 tranny work on the sedan proper?)
Drive Shaft
( Again could I used 350z or G35 coupe ?)
Engine ECU / Wiring Harness
( Again could I used 350z or G35 coupe ?)
Clutch pedal, Clutch disk, Flywheel
Clutch Mastery cylinder
Shifter
Differential? does this have anything that needs changed?
Also I know I need the interior console etc, but can I keep my current dash ?
From what I have read I am going to have to use a plasma cutter in order to fit this proper? Can anyone inform me on what needs to be cut? thanks.
I just want to see what I am up against.
any help is appreciated!

thescreensavers - more like 3 to 4 grand if I get used parts and do it myself.. maybe less when I have looked up prices.
lets not do all this stupid comment ****. Keep it productive. I understand selling it and picking up an MT. What on earth is the fun in that
. Plus I have to pay about a grand in taxes and fees . Plus My car is going to be about 1 or 2 grand cheaper then a MT. The logic is just to convert mine. 3K in lost in just selling it for someone used car that could of be beat on .....
/rant sorry
if you have never seen my car... its not going to be that easy to sell.

Now can anyone help me out!

Also how much is technosquare reflash? They are very local to me.
Does the whole differential need changed out?

I'm still doing more research on this. I am either taking my car to the shop Pharm D did or I am doing the swap in my buddies shop (most likely). Pharm did the technosquare reflash but im not sure weather u need the engine harness or not. My buddy said the only thing you will miss out on is the reverse switch, which will actually be very easy to wire up. The reflash is about $120. Doesn't really need to be switched out. the first parts list was from the z forum.

I played paintball for the underground (UGT) then San Francisco Gladiators played BAP series, XPSL, JBL, and local tournaments. We split up about 2 years ago.

I did a swap on a Integra. It was easy. Not sure about the G though.

You may need a new tranny mount because the Manual transmission may not BOLT onto the current mounting points.
Also, the engine wire harness will have a few extra wires hanging around after the swap.
You can keep the current clusters, but I would change it out to make it complete. Who wants to see P R N D L on there? lol
Also in the Integra, there was a huge gap near the shifter after I removed teh automatic shifter. Heat and noise can seep in so I had to weld a 2x3 plate to cover the gap. Then wrap the area with Dynamat and then put the center console over it. Just to make it complete and sound/heat proof.
I took me a friend 2 days to do everything right. The difference was night and day. The car felt brand new and a lot more fun to drive.
The only problem was, things were leaking and bolts were coming off from the mickey mouse work we did. We tighten everything up and the car is still running strong according to the guy I sold it to.
Most of my parts were off ebay. The only parts I bought new were the clutch, flywheel, the mounts, hydraulic lines, and the misc bolts...

You won't need the Engine wiring harness unless your 5AT is one of the "doggy door" versions. If that is the case, you will need the wiring harness and the ECU.
You will probably need the TCU as well, I think its different for 5AT & 6MT.

Transmission control or traction control? the TCM shouldn't be require like in most MT swaps.
