performance clutches

how long do performance aftermarket clutches last on a pretty much stock G?

i have the JWT clutch and it burned out in a year and 3 months

r u burning it ?..or maybe it is a defective clutch.. i had a stock clutch last 70k miles and would have lasted longer but i got a new motor and opted to put in a JWT clutch as when they did the motor swap... 15mos is crazy mang..~!

it may be defective, im going to take pictures and send them to JWT today. my transmission shop did say its burned its done but he said it may be defective. ill see what he says when i go by today

here is what it looks like











is there any clutch and flywheel combo that cost about the same as the JWT but better. im iffy buying another JWT clutch flywheel combo

Looks like you got some hot spots on your flywheel. How did you drive your car? From what I see it looks like the clutch was used with enthusiasm.

On second glace it could also just be the nature of the replaceable surface that JWT uses.

Personally I would just grab an exedy stage I, if you're NA. 1000KG clamping force vs 1200 makes for easier driving if it's your daily driver!

honestly i drive normal most of the time, no hard or power shifts. i am random with my spirited driving and do the occasional launches and a few donuts in 2nd gear. noting that would burn out a clutch though. there are two people that drive the car though
my mom and i so that may have helped it go out faster with the different driving styles
