Not Shifting!!!
I really hope my tranny didn't take a crap but I'm thinking it's what it is.
2005 G35 Sedan, 90k miles, Automatic. Been running just fine. Not troubles with engine nor tranny. Had it sitting in the garage all weekend and when I get it out this morning to go to work, it will not shift and I notice the Check engine light is on. Even when I go over to manual shift the gears on the dash says I'm going up and down but I can feel and see the Rpms getting higher and no shifting. Haven't got it in the shop yet to check the code. Just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of this before.
Horrible tuesday morning.....

Either your tranny is shot (if you haven't had issues with shifting before this point I woulnd't guess this) or you are losing a solenoid or 2 in the valve body.
I bet its the solenoid gone out in the valve body.
I dont think you can purchase just 1 solenoid for the valve body - i think the whole assembly has to be replaced. Hopefully you can find a place that will sell just one so you can check.
Its not that difficult of a replacement, but it will definetly be messy

i've removed and replaced the VB and all the solenoids. What insights are you looking for?
Its a messy job, you have to use a diagram to make sure you get the bolts back in the right locations for the right size bolt.
