I have had mine in for over 20,000 miles and it only shifts hard when im on it.Driving around in drive with normal driving it is a little more noticeable when shifting but not bad at all.The 2-3 shift is the hardest of all the shifts though.

Do you also feel the hard shift from 2nd to 3rd gear? I am trying to figure out if it it was installation error like BigC mention.

2>3 hard shift is 100% normal in our 5ats

What is going on, the same question has been asked a ton of times recently.

The 2 to 3 shift is normal, but in his situation, it's getting more and more rough as time goes on, that isn't normal

G
Like bigc said, I installed this mod myself with elayman.

Although I'm not boosted, the car shifts hard when I accelerate aggressively and shifts close to stock when I'm not pushing very hard on the gas pedal.

Every gear seems to engage similarly when I'm not driving hard.

I do drive manumatic most of the time, though.

Shifting's pretty much the same as stock under normal driving, and aggressive when it should.

Thought so, mine shifts a little harder than stock but the harder I push it the more pronounced it gets but never to a harsh bang.

Even with FI I keep mine 90% in Auto mod as it shifts just as fast as Manumatic mode, only time I use Manu is when I want to keep the revs higher to race people and even then the shifts are pretty good.

So it seems OP is the only person who's running into issues? I guess we can assume that it was an installation issue and not an issue with the product itself?

Are you saying this is normal with the Transgo mod or without?

The past 2 days i have being paying close attention, shifting from 2-3 on both MM and D and on my shifts smooth, i even got on the pedal pretty hard and started to shift around 5k RPM and it was still smooth, but then again i don't have this mod. That is why I ask if this is normal only with this mod. Thanks

I daily drive my G and I have absolutely no issues. I'm not FI - but I've been driving with it installed for over 10K miles now. Works flawlessly and not uncomfortable.

Sounds like you may have had it installed incorrectly because you are the only person to say this. 2-3 shift is no different than the rest of the shifts to me..
