Whistling during cold start ups help.

Hey what's up forum... probably a dumb question... but thought I would share my experience first. I have searched through to look for answers, but thought I would get some feedback... through my own experience.

So my car makes a loud annoying whistle in the morning (its cold). Also when I step on the gas it will whistle even louder and faster. It will eventually go away if I drive enough, but sometimes if I'm idling at a stop light it will come back... but like I said if you drive it enough it will go away. I've tried spraying a little WD40 (friend said use Windex?) on the belts and it does go away, and that did work for a while but eventually it came back. So I guess my question is... is it safe to say its the belts? could it be pulleys?... and if you know the problem what's the fix cost?

Thanks for all the help folks... not a car enthusiast but I love my G35. Also its a G35 Coupe 6MT 05, maybe that will help sort out the issue.

I have n 03 G35 coupe 6mt. Same exact problem, it sounds like a little howling noise coming from the car. I'm pretty sure it is normal, I've read ALOT of posts regarding this issue and there does not seem to be any legitimate answer. I noticed mine right after it got serviced, could be the change in fluids.

Wouldn't worry about it too much.
