built motor done, clutch flywheel issue.

Hey all, motor just got done and installed turns over and fires right up. but haven't been able to drive it at all because of this clutch issue im having. here goes: installed everything at the same time, meaning new engine, JWT clutch, flywheel, SS line etc. now i have absolutely no clutch pedal at all. My buddy mark and I bled the line for about 4 hours and it produced nothing. the pedal feels really stiff when pressed all the way to the floor however it doesn't move the clutch enough at all to engage and disengage. when released, the pedal doesn't return to the top either, all it does is rebound half way. if i manually bring the clutch to the top, the first part of the push has no resistance at all. then at the bottom there it is really stiff., but again will not move the clutch enough to engage and disengage. It also wont let me change gears, so clearly there is not enough travel. we tried everything. even thought it was the slave cylinder but no leaks what so ever. What in gods name am i missing here? I am pulling my hair out. this seems so stupid and i cant understand what it is. Does my pedal need to be adjusted or something? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Pedal has nothing to do with it. Did the slave sit dry for a while, while the engine was built. Could have a internal leak which is alowing pressure to slip by... Slave is a pretty cheap part to replace if you are positive it was bleed correctly.

Is someone downstairs watching the slave move when pressure is being applied?
During the rebuild did you disconnect the slave, and did all the fluid drain out of the master?
