5AT Tiptronic: Shift when I say so!
#16
Or a certain DIY thread that will actually post up a DIY........
I'm not a dick, nor do I need a new car. I'm trying to get this to run as well I as I can get it before I sell it when the right GT-R comes out. Then again, if asking you to read my post before you comment is dick, then I may very well be guilty.

^I have Osiris ![Dunno](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif)
Not only do I notice lag, but sometimes it seems like the power drops off for a second around 4,000/4,500rpm, then continues on as normal. I still have the stock transmission though so I'm not sure if my tranny is slipping or if its the tune. The AFR was normal when this happens. Anybody experience this before?

Power drop is not normal.
With Osiris they can modify the torque management, but if you set it too high or inccorectly It will make downshifting very slow iirc
It is map switchable so you can have one map that can up shift fast

I will be going for a retune in the next couple of months so hopefully that will fix it. Normally my downshifts are quick unless I hit the limiter. There was a TT 7AT G37 there that was doing the exact same thing as mine around the same RPM, both of us were tuned at the same shop too. So I'll have to see if I'll be going there again.

Should be noticeable on the dyno if there is a power drop, so if it happens on the dyno they can see it and try to fix it if it is software/tuning issue
