6mt diff and 3.5 gears in 5at vlsd housing?

I have tried researching but find many conflicting answers. But right now I have an 03 coupe 5at that came with oem 18s and aluminum interior trim which I'm pretty sure is the sport model with 3.3 vlsd. Can I just buy a 3.5 diff and gears and put em in the same housing? Thx in advance

It's cheaper to just find a used 3.5 and swap out the whole pumpkin.

3.3 is hardly no difference than 3.5..it's not worth the time or money especially if you already have vlsd. Find a 3.7 it'll fit as long as your stock diff had lsd

James I have to respectfully disagree. My car is a lot more fun to drive with the 3.5 I swapped in. The 3.7 would be great as well though, on that we agree.
