5AT using Koyo help..

So i tried searching but cant seem to find my answer. i have an 05 5AT which im installing the Koyo radiator for the manual's. I know i need to run a tranny cooler but how do i route the hoses since the manual radiator doesnt have the tranny lines? do i run it right to tranny? Thanks

yeah, you just connect the transmission to the cooler directly. the stock transmission hardlines stick out under the front of the engine. connect those lines to your cooler. some folks just use a bunch of clamps to secure the cooler lines to the hard transmission lines, but the best thing to do is use compression fittings since the fluid in those lines is under a decent amount of pressure.

Yes, you can do that (they should be roughly the same size), but since the ports on the OEM radiator are no longer a factor in your new cooling system, you need to be focused on matching up your new lines and cooler with the OEM hardlines.

Any way you can be more specific on what you mean by matching up the new with oem lines? I read on another forum that sice im bypassing the rad that it doesnt matter whic way I hook up the cooler since its an in and out system. Is this accurate? Thanks again
