New JWT clutch is slipping! Please help!

Hey Guys,
I got a new JWT clutch and flywheel combo this year and I've only put around 8000 miles on them. Just last week the clutch started to slip. I originally thought the tires where slipping, but now it's really obvious that it's the clutch. I called the mechanic about it, but he says it's either my driving or that I bought a junk clutch. Basically, he's saying there is no warrenty. I don't race this car, it's my daily driver and 90% of the miles are highway miles. I don't ride the clutch or 2 step it at lights. THe mechanic did have to adjust the clutch pedal after the install. As for a junk clutch, JWT parts are well known for their quality. Does anyone have any advice? I'm in the Maryland-DC metro area.
