Exclamation Transmission Done for HELP TCM? VALVE?

Ok so I have a HUGE decision a brewing. I have a AUTO 05 G35 Coupe with only 80k miles on it. I bought it 5 months ago and has ran perfectly until last week. I had to get my radiator replaced and now my car has a trans problem. Here are the codes : P1769, P1759, U1000, C1704, C1729 . I took it to a trans shop and they said I need a new trans valve body and POSSIBLY a new transmission. My uncle says that I may just need a new TCM and for it to be reprogrammed. I looked up prices and a trans valve body and transmission both run about the same price. TCM a cheaper option.

Problem when driving: When i drive it wont go really over 40mph (im guessing stuck in a gear) I can step on the pedal and my car wont barley even move, its depressing lol. If i come to a complete stop and then even try to baby it, it delays 10 seconds before it barley moves, says thing when i go from reverse to drive.

Bottom Line: Which do yall think it is? I dont want to replace one thing and find out its another thing. So if you were in my shoes, which would you replace first.

Seems odd for it to die out the blue. Did you happen to spill alot of fluid from the cooler lines connected to the radiator when you replaced it?

I didn't replace it, the shop did. Most likely what happened from what a guy on the phone said is that the water from the leaking / cracked radiator spilled into the tranny. I also have no clue about cars / filling up the fluids, but i doubt thats the problem at this point ha.

The tranny is sealed, unless some magical way it shot from the radiator into the dipstick tube and even if it did spill inside I'm assuming you could drain it and refill it a few times and be fine.

Something else is going on and I would start with the shop.

Well then forget i said that lol, that was from this sketchy shop. I went to another one n got a diagnostic check n they said that i need a new valve body n programming n possible overhaul. I want a third opinion but theres no infiniti dealers out here and i dont want to spemd another $109 just to get it checked again

109 is cheaper than having the trans serviced.

I'd rather try to ask ya'll to try to confirm that its the valve body or to see if anyone had this problem.

ok so i have a update. My car will drive normally for the most part on the highway, got to 80mph ( just doesnt accelerate well. BUT when i have to stop, thats where the problem is. I was stopped at a stop sign for a good 5-10 seconds, my car would not move what so ever, then it finally nudged and slowley, but surely went. What do yall think it is?

The stock transmission cooler is integral to the stock radiator. If one leaked into the other you will destroy your transmission.

You need to first inspect the transmission cooler, change out the ATF, and then reassess.

I believe you will need a complete transmission rebuild at this point. You have burnt the clutches out by running coolant instead of ATF in there.

You should have taken it to a shop that works on these cars. In the end it would have been much less expensive. Live and learn. Don't make the same mistake again.

Check Engine light on - Engine revs but car doesn't wanna go

Were you able to find a fix? I have very same problem like yours, it would really help if you could tell me if you were able to fix your issues.

Their last activity was 10-2015...quite possibly no longer "here".

G35
Alright so i bought a 2004 coupe g35 for 3 stacks the car ran good until a abs sensor got ****ed up so i took it to the dealer ship and they charged me for almost 700$ and they showed me other problems i had so i went to a regular mechanic and bought a new valve gasket for leaking oil new drive belt new ball joints new tie rods and i also changed the air mass sensor and paid almost a stack and the car drove good for a couple months until i had to change the battery and buy all 4 tires get wheel aligment i got a radio with a with a small tv i bought halo headlights i bought neon lights so ive put a lot of money into this car because i love my whip but now i dnt know what to do because a month ago my radiator fans went out so i had buy dat and now my transmission was acting up like if it went on limp mode or something like the car would barley move and the gears wouldnt change so i took it to advanced auto parts and they said it was a speedometer so i bought it and i took it to the Hight tec transmssion so they can put the sensor for me and clean the transmission filter and check the tranny fluid and they said its str8 they can do that but they wanted to put it on the computer to make sure if i didnt have any other problem on tranny and turns out its TCM “Transmission control Module” Its like a sensor the goes inside the tranny and dropping the pan and he said i need to get it from the dealership bc that sensor needa be legit but its 1,000 plus 350 labor work so **** that i went online to see if i can find other solutions and supposly if u disconnect your battery it resets the tcm but it worked for a couple of minutes and then boom limp mode again😔i went to back to advance auto parts to return the speedometer and see if they had the TCM cheaper than the dealer and its 400$ plus 350$ labor work so like 750$ in total idk if i should fix it and then sell it or just keep riding it btw it got 166k

I think you need to post exactly what error code the TCM is throwing. There's a lot of components to the transmission and some of them are fairly easy to replace.
