Torque Solution Short Shifter Feedback

Hi All, as a driver my preference is to improve all driver feels for functionality rather than cosmetics. I've read all about the cd009 tranny how they can be occasionally difficult to switch gears. I been dealing with it for few years now and I feel it is about time for me to do something about it.

I've watched the review about this TS short shifter from the guy in youtube on his 350z. I am basically ready to pull the trigger on this product but want to hear from you who had short shifter on your car even if it is different brand.

I basically want the precision and improving the fulcrum points they offer.

1. Are they worth it for you? how much improvement did you noticed compared to stock?
2. Do you experience any failing mechanism?
3. Any feedback good or bad

Thanks in advance

Never had an issue with my revision 9 transmission, yeah it's notchy AF but you definitely know when you're in gear. There are two sweet spots where it loves to go into gear, idle to 2200 rpm and 4500+, it slides in like butter. If you're between 2200-4500 you definitely feel the resistance.

Interested in in the opinions of folks who have used this shifter as well.

C'mon dee this forum's header specifically states "No car questions" so I've moved it to the appropriate place. I remember what it was like to be a noob.....

6 speed G35 sedan
I had a 6 speed Maxima a few years prior to my G35. Compared to the Maxima, the G35 come stock with a short throw shifter!

I could really care less about the height, I know the stock is pretty short already but I am mainly about the less throw travel and precision the aftermarket ones offer. Right now, my gears requires slight effort and I feel there are wear and tear already like the ball bearings.

I like the design of Torque solution as 1 piece compared to other aftermarket ones.

You might be feeling a worn component on the shifter but my.money is you're actually feeling worn synchros in the transmission. Tell me how the shifter works out for you once you get it. If it's a substantial improvement in feel I might get one as well.

I'm really hoping it's not synchros, often times 2nd gear always require a little effort. The rest are still cd009 feel. I'll let u know, I also ordered the oem plastic shifter cup since the TS don't come with one.
