I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Automatic Sedan. Has a production date of 02/02. It looks like I may need a new tranny. Having problems with gear shifting and not going into higher gear. Shifting trouble. I can get it to 70 but I have to coax it there and the RPM's will be at 5K when I hit speeds that high. Doing a code check I come up with a P1716 code. Turbine revolution speed sensor. Read on it and that are the symptoms my car is doing. Questions is if I need a tranny I understand it has to be from production date up to 03/02. But must it come from a sedan? Does the coupe come with a automatic transmission with same date? If so can I use that tranny or must it be from a automatic Sedan with a production date up to 03/02? Please let me know.
