2005 g35 atx reprogram

I want to replace my tranny due to a couple of things one, because it has 200,000 on it and two, i think the TCM might be screwed. If i were to get another lower mileage tranny with the TCM already inside will i need to reprogram it to my car. Or if get just another TCM will i have to reprogram it and if so does anyone know how to reprogram...

I know people have simply replaced the TCM and it worked, others have said they needed it reprogrammed. I'm not sure if it's actually REQUIRED as there are no reprogram directions listed in the FSM. I do know there were multiple software revisions for it though and folks typically want the latest version.
