Rear Diff Bushings & TransGo Installed

I live just outside of Kansas City...
last week I drove the G to Camp LeJune, NC for my nephews marine corp retirement ceremony and on the way home took a little detour to Z1 Motorsports just outside of Atlanta to have them install the TransGo Vlave Body and their Rear Differential Bushings. The shop is amazing and everyone is very nice and helpful. I scheduled the appointment a couple of weeks in advance and they were able to put a couple of guys on my car and got everything done the same day. I'm loving the results under both normal and WOT driving conditions, by far my favorite mod to date...
sorry no pics of the TransGo install

Here's some valve body upgrade pics to fit the thread... nice upgrades. Z1 is always there to answer my Q's over the phone I buy stuff from them whenever possible.

The diff bushing and transgo at the same time had to feel like your car was exploding when shifting haha.

Is the 4>5 shift the same as stock for you? Every shift seems to have sped up except for that one.

Looks like it's paired with a TDX2 exhaust, Z1 Camber kit... what else?

mine is an automatic (flame away), under hard acceleration it barks 1>2 and sometimes 2>3, 3>4 is aggressive and 4>5 just feels faster but not as hard as the others...
under normal acceleration all the shifts just feel much crisper - if that makes sense...

other goodies
also: Motordyne Art Pipes, Stillen Air Intake wiith Z-Tube... going to be going back to Z1 to have ther Headers installed along with having them tune it on the Dyno, it was Dyno tuned after the exhaust and intake were installed, but I think it needs it again after the headers are installed

I would agree.

My auto and it's shifting is about the same. Sadly 4-5 grabs a little bit so I'm going to have to drop the pan again at some point and clean everything off and hope it fixes it.

the down side to the Z1 Motorsports VQ Performance Headers is the cost of course... headers are about 2K installed....
thinking about also upgrading to the Kinetix V+ Upper Plenum and NWP 75mm throttle body... just not sure if the Kinetix V+ plenum will fit under my Soul Function strut tower brace...

Take some play-dough (yep the kids' play-dough), roll it into 4-5 ***** and place them on top of the strut tower brace. Now close and open the hood, it will flatten the play-dough down so you know EXACTLY how much clearance there is between the brace and the hood. You may be able to shim the brace up a little higher to make room for a taller plenum.

I wouldn't recommend the kinetix plenum, just Motordyne spacer.

the brace is adjustable, no shims needed...
