Starts then stalls immediately
Starts then stalls immediately
2006 G35 sedan, all stock about 140K mls
Please help the other day I started my car and first turn it didnt start. Second try it started then the rpms started lowering lowering then died. Tryed again, started then dropped and shut off. So I got a scanner tool and it threw a P0113 (intake air temp sensor voltage high).
I've been reading through the threads and I cleaned my Throttle body and got a new MAF sensor. No change still stalls out immediately after starting. Even pushing on the gas pedal does not help it stutter or anything, the rpms just drop straight down real quick, and it shuts off.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem. I was really disappointed the TB cleaning and new MAF didn't do the trick, seems to have worked for most others with this problem.
Thank you all in advance for your thoughts and help with this issue.

Thank you for responding, I appreciate any help I can get with this.
I changed my MAF already. I never cleaned my old one, just bought a new one to begin with (Hitachi as recommended on other threads).

No I bought a new one and replaced the one I had duct taped. I'm kinda thinking could be my ecu. I was reading another post on here, guy having same problem. It was his ecu.
Thank you though. Any other ideas pls lmk.

ECU help???
Does anyone know, if I was to buy an ecu on ebay and hook it up to my car, what would I have to do to get it to work/ be compatible with my car?
Any info appreciated.. Thx

Either have it programmed at Nissan or buy the Nissan Datascan 2 software, an interface cable, use a BCM decoder tool online, and program it yourself.
I would DEFINITELY ring out the MAF sensor wires back to the ECM first just to verify it's not a broken wire somewhere which is pretty common.

Update/Fix
So my car is fixed finally! It was my camshaft sensor. Apparently g35s are known to have this issue. My friend changed the sensor and charged the battery (its been sitting a couple weeks) and it started AND stayed running. Of course we used A Hitachi sensor, OEM as always recommended on this forum.
So thank you g35driver for this site, and to all the members who post and especially to the knowledgable people who reply and help us all out!
