No. That statement did not come from me. I've read it on a few forums before. I didn't say it was true, but I just thought I would mention it since I have read it elsewhere.
People on this forum have said that resting your hand on the shifter could cause damage, so it would make sense to think that a heavier shift **** could result in a similar occurance. Again, i have no idea if it is true or not, but people do make these claims so there is no harm in mentioning it....

I personally love heavier shiftknobs. I'm planning to go for Razo, too, but different style.
Anyway, I'm wondering how resting the hand on the **** can cause damage? I just don't get it... please explain because I rest my hand on the **** all the time and I need to stop if it's doing any damage to the transmission. Thanks.
