No. That statement did not come from me. I've read it on a few forums before. I didn't say it was true, but I just thought I would mention it since I have read it elsewhere.

People on this forum have said that resting your hand on the shifter could cause damage, so it would make sense to think that a heavier shift **** could result in a similar occurance. Again, i have no idea if it is true or not, but people do make these claims so there is no harm in mentioning it....

I personally love heavier shiftknobs. I'm planning to go for Razo, too, but different style.

Anyway, I'm wondering how resting the hand on the **** can cause damage? I just don't get it... please explain because I rest my hand on the **** all the time and I need to stop if it's doing any damage to the transmission. Thanks.

Nice looking shift ****...makes sense the shifts would be easier with more weight.

Since this is something you put your hands on all the time, is that going to get all smudged up after every drive?? Looks almost like a mirror!

Yes it is a screw on. Saw it in person and it looks even better!

Razo also makes the RA 25 model that weighs 340g.

I wish I could find a heavy **** that does not have the Razo on the top. I would like to be able to get a quality **** and have it plain of inscribed with what I want.

Did not realize before looking now that their are so many **** ***** on the market.

Any ideas?

Does the shifter **** get too hot in the sun? On the stock **** there's a small piece of metal on the top that can scald you sometimes, but it's easy to avoid touching it...

A good tip is to keep a nice white sock in your car that you can place over yourshifter while its parked. This will keep it much cooler!

White sock? Sounds like a warning in the dorms for your roomie not to come in while you're getting laid. LOL Not a bad idea though.
