Clutch Slipping @ 17k

I have had the 6MT for just shy of year and I was the original owner. The car always drove funny and a few thousand miles ago noticed the clutch engaging strange. 17k on the car now and it's slipping really bad in 3,4,5 & 6. I know its not covered under warranty but anyone have any feedback on this?

Recommended aftermarket clutches?

I do drive the card hard but never had it to the track and a lot less hard then I drive my supra. I talked to a few other owners and have had similar problems. One had his replaced at 8k and the new one is slipping again at 15k.

Feedback is appreciated... Thanks!

My 04 did the same thing @ 15,000 miles The dealership told me it lasted longer then most! I went with a Tilton Full Street clutch and light weight flywheel. It rev's crazy fast which it love but is loud under 2500RPM, like a rattling noise. On top of that there is no slip at all, you have to learn to drive a stick all over again. I would go aftermarket just for quality but wouldn't recommend Tilton unless you want something extreme. Also replace the flywheel while you're down there you'll save a lot of money doing it all at once.

I have never drivedn the Tilton but I have driven the RPS Carbon Carbon on a buddies car wasn't that bad. In my supra I have the RPS 6Puck with Heavy Pressure Plate. I love the way it feels, very in control of the car.

The g35 is stock and is my daily driver so I am not looking for anything crazy, stock would be just fine but I dont want to make this a yearly ordeal.

The labor I am not concerned about because I can do it myself or have the shop that works on my other car do it.
