5AT Shifter Direction Mod

That's okay
That's okay. I designed and built a set of RF controlled paddle shifters that use secure rotating security codes and handshakes to prevent errant signals well over a year to two years ago for my G35. Even has eXclusive OR logic to block out the case if both paddles are pressed at the same time as to not to confuse the car's computer. The unit is plugged in to the M47 harness connector and sits under my passenger seat. Problem is I've never attached the paddles to the stearing wheel. Only takes a couple of pieces of double sided woodworkers tape and 2-3 minutes. Now *that's* lazy... ;o)

See, I'm not even in your league, bro. I am not worthy-I am not worthy!!
As the saying goes, Yeah, you know your stuff, Bozo, but you need to stay in your class. Used-to-be-poseur-boy
Sad, but true, but I'm learning.
Anyway, been on the horn and confidence is high............don't wanna jinx myself, though.
So with any luck, in the not too distant future, ya boy will have good news to report. After a good, hi-speed thrashing, of course. Yeah, baby. I'm stoked.
And inasmuch as I've promised myself "the mods stop here", so that I can focus more on the next ride I have in mind - either a C63 AMG, M3, IS-F (or 335d, last resort being G37x Coupe in that order)..........a Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood must be had.
I mean, an MSRP of 600 beans for the OEM style?
For about a 22 lb. weight savings off the front - according to Seibon?
The least I can do if no forced induction or cold air intake/air filter is being installed.
I mean, a fat-@$$ can only move 280 hp and 270 lb/ft but so much. (If only I can resist getting the CF front fenders, too. ) Damn-damn-DAMN!!
Mods are making me crazy!! And I thought tattoos were addictive.
Later days, dude.

Very worthwhile and practically free mod! Love the more natural feel to "shifting" the manu-matic.
One thing to note is that when your try to remove pins 7 & 8, it is best to use a needle depress the tab that is holding the pin in place. You can press the tab down from the side that plugs into the harness. If you take a close look, you should be able to see the tab I'm referring to. The wire should slide out pretty easily if the tab is pressed down. (Good luck, and sorry if my explanation is confusing)
