oil filter question.

anyone know if k&n oil filters have a check valve? the stock oil filters have a check valve that does not allow oil to drain into the pan...keeps oil in the upper parts of the engine to maintain lubrication at start-up. can someone tell me if k&n or mobile 1 have check valves or not?

As long as you use the filter specified in their applications guide for the year/model, it will have the anti-drainback valve and the proper PSI pressure relief bypass. IMO, the K/N is overpriced for what it is. The Purolator PL14610 is about as good as it gets for $5-6.
