Where can I find an oil filter spacer (for a cooler) that will fit the sedan?
I was about to order an oil cooler kit for a sedan, but at the last minute decided to do more homework and I'm glad I did.
The first thing I found was that very decent oil cooler kits are manufactured by Flex-A-Lite (whom I understand makes the kits for Stillen) and are available through many outlets, including online sources. And the prices are MUCH better than the big name kits.
Secondly, I found that the oil filter spacer (which is used to divert the oil through the cooler coil and back to the engine) is too large to fit the sedan. Apparently, these spacers are about 1 1/2 inches thick and there is insufficient clearance on the sedan to accommodate them.
Does anyone know of a source for an oil filter spacer that will meet the clearance requirements and match the filter size and threads necessary for the G?
