Battery drained??

I have been having this problem lately, whenever the car sits for about 8hrs or so and i want to start the car the battery its drained, all you hear is clicking sounds, i already exchanged the battery bc i thought it was a bad battery or maybe that i had left a light on but thats not the problem, it seems to happen if the car its sitting off for a couple of hours, after a jump the car starts fine and you can use it without a problem, its very frustrating, im thinking its the starter or the alternator, any of you guys jave any idea??

go get a battery test done, they will also test your alternator while they check the battery
