Supercharger: Where to buy? Which one?

I'm interested in possibly getting a supercharger.

Can anyone who has done this give me some information on it?

Where you got yours from? How much did it cost? Was the installation difficult? Did you install it yourself or have a shop do it? If someone else did it, how much did it cost? How's the difference in power (ridiculously fast or just ehh faster)?

Just as much info as you can give.

I have an 04 Automatic coupe. Thanks.

If you search the forced induction section you will find countless posts on this topic.

To answer your questions:
- Stillen Stage 4 supercharger
- ~$6,000 with the CF hood and warranty shipped (for stage 2, I got the stage 4 parts later)
- Install was not hard. Did it with hand tools in my garage between Friday night and saturday.
- Since you have a AT if you want big power you will need to look into a valve body upgrade and maybe other tranny upgrades.

before spending money on a supercharger, you need to research the power delivery styles of the superchargers and the turbo kits available and decide from there which route you want to go. It appears you're not very familiar with them, and that would be an expensive mistake to choose something you're not happy with.

I'm in the same boat, i can't afford tt and i'm looking at superchargers. Stillen seems the logical choice. Is it stupid to buy stage 4 from stillen, or get stage 2 and upgrade. Vortech is the other choice and i heard it has a bov. And wut about hks super charger? I have a 2006 g35 coupe mt and will any of these fit the rev up. If a veteran could list the pros & cons of each kit with a price range that would be great. I am an extreme newb that wants a faster g without speending the cheddar. Any help is appreciated
