Well..Its time for FI can you guys help me out?

Hey guys hows it going? I have basicly done everything i can do to a NA engine as far as basic bolts on go, except headers. I have new 19" rims and tires on the way with a BBK. I am looking to go FI now and i am leaning towards the vortech SC kit. I am looking to put down around 380-400 HP. I know the kit said it puts out around 415 hp..is that to the wheels?

I want a safe build i dont want to spare any expenises and end up with a blown motor. I would like it if you guys could tell me everything i need to do to run a safe 380-400hp kit. I know mostly what i need, but i want to make sure. So if you guys can make me a list of what i need that would be awesome.

The 415 advertised is to the crank w/ the 3.33 pulley because if you look at that quote they are basing the increase off of 287 which was the crank HP of the earlier "G's"

I love my Vortech kit and have had no problems in 10K miles on my 65K mile stock engine.

I have the 3.12 pulley with the mods listed below and am putting down 402 to the rear wheels.

If you are looking at 380 - 400 whp you will not be disapointed in the Vortech with the 3.12 pulley.

real quick question.. why a supercharge as apposed to a turbo?

arnt superchargers generally based towards V8 engines, turbos for V6 engines?

There is no criteria that would suggest a SC is only for V8"s and turbos for V6's. I like SC systems for the fact that they are much less expensive to purchase and install.

I'm going to be selling my polished full-vortech kit here pretty soon, once it's uninstalled. Its only been on the car for under 3000 miles. Let me know.
