270whp??

What the drivetrain loss on an automatic? 20%? 20hp for every 100hp? If you have 300 crankhp, then it was 240whp right? So if you have 270whp, then crank would be 337.5. My math sucks though. Maybe its right though. Anyone else?
400chp would be 320 whp
387.5chp would be 310 whp
375chp would be 300 whp
362.5chp would be 290 whp

Now if you think in terms of the 07 - the engine HP is anywhere from 352 - 367 hp! WOW

Drivetrain frictional losses vary with rpm and fluid viscosity- temperature.........tire to road interface is the worst %, TC next %, then diff, driveshaft, finally gear mesh in tranny wheel bearings and half shaft bring up rear. Amount of rear camber and toe must be considered usually lumped into the 8-10% tire loss.
What ever gets the most temperature rise has the most friction.
