07 Sedan Engine in an 05 Coupe?

I am in a situation that I wish I weren't in, but I have to replace my entire engine due to a severe knock, and I won't be paying for it, soooo.... My question to you guys is, has anyone heard of the possibility of the new 07 G Sedan Engine with 306hp fitting directly into a 05 6MT? Just curious, I figure if I have to replace my engine, why not get the latest offering from Nissan/Infiniti. Any thoughts?
Thanks for any help.

Could be done but major chassis/mounting/electrical/ecu mods required. The '07 is basically a different car. By the time you were done adding up the costs, you could have installed a fully built rev-up with TT. If you're getting a free motor in a crate, take that opportunity to create a monster.

as said above it will not just fit in so it will be some creativity and headaches getting this to function properly but I would like to see this

It probably wont be happening then, cause I am not really up for a massive overhaul on my car. However, I have been considering the possibility of trying to do something along the lines of a built motor, possible FI and whatnot depending on how my new engine ends up getting paid for. If I just get a check for 13k, then I will have to consider my options. If the money goes to the dealership to pay for the work, then I don't have much of a choice. Any thoughts on route to go if you were starting over with approx. 13k to work with, all labor and parts included?
