Mother of all Tech Posts

Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum and it goes the same for car modifications. Can you guys suggest ALL THE BEST PARTS that should be added to my new 6MT G35 coupe? I got it all figured out for the exterior but I keep on reading Stillen intake this Injen dual exhaust that and Crawford this that... Can you guys list what you would ideally put into your babies? Thanks! (Given a reasonable budget... maybe no budget... haha)

Well, if I'm going to post I want to know the budget...No sense in recommending Top Secret titanium headers if you can't affor the $3,700 for them...We need a little help, here, and what kind of performance you're looking for...

yeah the top secret stuff is all super good if u are willing to pay the money. If u got the money and u want to get some sirus power then just get the PE kit. then get the low compression psitons and then get some sleeves and new cods. Then you could run 10psi and you will have the fastest G35/350z in the country. but you looking at around 13 grand in mods

Okay, let's say the budget runs around 5-7000. I am just looking to mod my car so that it's very fast. The G is pretty damn fast already but you could always use more power, no? And also... don't super chargers, intakes, and all those mods shorten the life span of your cars? I used to believe that these things killed your car... Anyone know how it really goes down? Thanks again.

Mods don't lenghten the lifespan, but it depends on how far you go...If you upgrade the internals to take more abuse that can help...Knowing how to drive, tune, and use your new equipment also is a plus...Plenty of rides are out there, prowling the streets, and they have been doing so for years with forced induction, etc...

You will never make it "really" fast. Unless you do an enigne swap or forge all the internals and blast 20 psi of boost.

So all the mods don't really damage the car is what you're saying? Any recommendations for what I should get? Thanks.
