Does your car click after a long run?

Ive been noticing a loud click click click click sound coming from the general underbody of the car after long runs - especially if you drive the car hard. I know its normal, every car does it...but for some reason i think my car does it excessively...even at a red light you can hear it with the windows down, friends have asked me why my car does it so much....

i never really payed attention to it, and noticed it after installing my crawford cats, is this normal? do g's get that hot....16k miles, and my temperature meter is normal, which is why i havent worried about it.

It is just the exhaust metal sound due to the heat... you would find it in every car; the harder you drive, the more you will hear that

lol......I like that, you might as well check your coolant too; since you are checking your oil because of some metal hissing noise

Yes these cars eat oil and will give you a warning when it is way to late. Also it could be your tranny. My tranny makes a lot of noise when it is in neutral for no reason. I asked the dealer about it and they told me they rattle a lot.

It's the muffler bearings. Make sure the dealer greases those at your next service. They missed them on my car and I had to remind them.

Muffler bearings use to be joke. But guess what, the G sedan actually does have a couple of bearings in the flapper mechanism of the muffler.
