I heard that the nipple version does drain slower than the non nipple version, which is one of the reasons why i went with the non-nipple version. I have yet to install it though (waiting for my next oil change in a few thousand miles..)

 

Does the nipple version come with a hose or do you have to go out and find a hose to fit it?

 

You have to spend $2 on your own hose. Still worth it.

I think the ID is 1/2 or 5/8. I just took mine to Home Depot and fitted it up.
