Well i got my skunk2 plenum and on the instructions its says to drain the coolant,,so im all confused here
can't say for the skunk2, but you definitely don't need to drain the coolant to install the motordyne spacer.
and you definitely don't need to drain the coolant when installing the iso-thermal components either.
if you're installing a coolant control valve (to open or close coolant hose to plenum) then you'll get some coolant spillage when you remove that hose, that's all, just wipe it away when you're done. hahaha. just like you would with your girlfriend.

Have you installed your skunk spacer yet? If not please lay and align a factory plenum gasket on top of it. Then take a picture of the back center area and post it so we can see how well the two match up.
Thanks,
Earl
