Blitz Intake
Blitz Intake
I notice everyone talking about K&N, and Injen....the Blitz SUS (Stainless Mesh Filter) is out and have heard good things about it (Contact Blitz USA for Dyno figures) It will fit both Coupe and Sedan...Retails for $268......Blitz tested as one of the best flowing but not one of the best particle filters....so California only.....hahaaha.

Re: Blitz Intake
Did you Dyno your car? how manly miles you got? remember guys....in some cars the motor has to be broken in (could be 1500-5000 miles) before the true power potential is realized. Hey and lets face it...its just a filter.! but every bit helps!

Alex, its funny the way most people think of intakes....remember in real life your moving...and lets face it....Nissan/Infiniti did a good job locating the Intakes on the 350Z/G35.....makes you think is it really sucking as much hot air as ppl think.
Re: Blitz Intake
I wouldn't say that Blitz test the best... check this link out:

Pretty much says that Blitz didn't do so well (I don't know how they got around doing their tests)...

Re: Blitz Intake
You can drive 80mph, get all the air flow you can imagine under the hood, air will be warmer then if you ducted it from the outside to the filer element in a sealed system. Short rams are warm air intakes. The radiator' dumps a ton of hot air out as it does it's job.
I wonder how larger the particles are that a stainless steel mesh fileter allows in? Or how many time bigger the particles are? I sure won't run one.
