and do you think it's ok to use that type oil (and viscosity) in my 94' Integra LS with 85000 miles?
I run it for 7500 miles, you can easily get 10k out of it. On the first post, I have a Used oil analysis on GC in a G35...at 7500 miles shows almost no wear at all

youll be fine, but I think an I4 engine prefers a thinner oil. Give pennzoil platinum or castrol syntec 5w-30 try. Keep an eye out for PP you can find it around $1 a quart when its on sale! I run PP or Syntec for 5k miles.

Really?

Tony told me he tells everyone to run M1 15W50 to help with all the extra heat from the boost. If M1 is no longer complete, what 50wt can we run?

edit... you have 3000 miles on the car or the oil???????

if you have 3k on the car....change oil now to remove any breakin materials. If you have 3k on the oil dont worry about it.
i've got 3,000 miles on the car but had the local Nissan dealer do an oil change at 1400 miles.... they just put in the factory oil cause i saw a lot of people on here say to go through a couple cycles of non-synthetic..... ive got about 400 miles to go before i need a change, but i will be putting german castrol in it when i do

btw.... when i checked my local autozone today to see if they stocked it, i told them i heard a rumor that autozone's were gonna quit stocking it, but the guy i told that to said he hadnt heard anything about that

some autozone have stopped stocking it, maybe its based on poor sales in that area.

i think the larger autozones are going to keep it since they have a larger inventory space. and everytime i go there its either sold out or stocked up..

Well Amsoil Series 2000 0W-30 is a great oil. I've had it in my coupe since it had 2,000 miles on the odometer. I've had no problems with it and manage to get 20-21 mpg in the city.

This is the oil filter that works with our cars (EAO12) and is 98.7% efficient @ 15 microns:

If you're a real cleanie with your oil, get this bypass filter system. It filters out soot and contaminants with 98.7% efficiency @ 2 microns.

Hey guys, my first oil change is coming up, at 3750 miles. I'm thinking of just changing it to the yellow bottle conventional penzoil. Anyone disagree?

I was actually at 3200K miles on my trip so it was time for an oil change. I have used mobil 1 for the last 30K miles or so i would say and last night i went to pepboys and picked up 5 quarts of royal purple 5w-30. I then realized that i needed a power steering change since we havnt had one since i think 30K miles (now have 85K). So i called my nissan mechanic, i can take my car there and he does a little under the table work on my car (cost me $30 for full powersteering flush, condition, and refill). Anyways, i told him i was using royal purple this time and forgot to buy a mobil 1 filter so he gave me a OEM nissan filter, which actually looks the same as the mobil 1. We lifted the car on the lift drained the oil and replaced the filter and the oil. After i left $40.00 later the car is running SOOOOO much smooth than with the mobil 1.
