do we put a 50/50 mixture of coolant with water, or just the coolant?

also, i wanted to change the fuel filter, where is it?

by this you mean that the water you use in the 50/50 mixture to be distilled right?

 

You can buy pre-mixed coolant at any auto store as well. You'll need 8.5 litres.

 

yeah ive used that before, its probably cheaper to just buy the concentrated stuff and mix it yourself, especially if your using alot of it. Just wanted to make sure the g35 were 50/50.

Definately 50/50. It's the 50% water that cools your engine. Definately use distilled water as well since tap water has impurities.

 

we have a non serviceable fuel filter located in the gas tank.it is attached to the fuel pump.

 

Make sure you use the special flushing equipment needed to do the job so you don't spread poisons around and get in trouble with the authorities too. It's illegal to just dump antifreeze down the storm drains, or what have you.

 

If you change annually you can use less AF concentration in Summer and more in winter [sufficient for temperature].

In Summer a 20% AF might be acceptable in heat is a problem.

Don't confuse boil over after shut down with running temperature.
