MREV for rev-up engine which is a 6mt which would be yours, that with a plenum spacer (if those 2 things go together) and its the best bang for ur buck. but watch out, this isnt a honda...there is probably not a single bolt on under $2000 that shows 20+ hp gains

NITROUS, yes thats right I said nitrous. $1000-$2000 for a good "safe" set up on a stock engine w/ a 100 shot.

there is only one or two cost effective bolt and it is cats and tune. But again cats are illigal and i would not risk it.

Spacer and MREV are the best bang for the buck n/a.

NOS is the best hp/$ as long as you don't use it all the time.

TT is the best overall mod since you can use it every day and get 400 whp safe on a stock block.

ttrank - you don't know how difficult this is.

I sold my 350Z on Tuesday for $19,500. I owed $8,200. I am sure you can do the math.

I think I will be funding my 401k instead of going TT.

That is a smart move for your future and I give you a lot of credit for doing it. I don't have too much in my 401K right now but I am also only 28. I know it's wrong to think this way but I am realistic and hoping that my wealthy grandparents leave me some money to help pad my retirement savings when that inevitable time comes in 10-20 years.

I don't either but I do have a 0% for 15 month credit card! All my mods have been done on my CC's. I get them now and pay them off as I enjoy them! It's not the most responsible idea but has worked out for me. I still have ~$7k on it and hope to have it paid off by March if I get a good tax return and bonus from work. $7k is not too bad since I have way, way more than that in my car.

I look at it this way. The real estate market was good here in Phoenix for a few years and when I got divorced, I made enough off my last house sale to put 20% down on a smaller house for just my daughter and I and buy my used 04' for cash. So instead of a car payment I have a mod payment every month.
