What I mean is why not email again for a more definative answer? I agree that what was given sounds or reads rather cloudy as you have pointed out so many times.

I'm just as curious as you man, no side picking here.

Feel free to email him. Given my SPECIFIC questions and considering the less than specific reply, I got what I needed.

Lets get this thread going again...
On a very boring Friday night this thread has provided much amusement.

Its nice to see other people also have too much time and hardly anything of value to say.

Here's my two cents. I put Mobil 1 in my G and Castrol in my Camry. Why? Because it make me feel good and I assume neither is bad. Also I believe the more expensive oil may actually have a cost benefit.

It is a shame that someone saw fit to trash an otherwise good thread, (as many have noted), with inuendo, disinformation, twisting words and all out lies.

Those, whom wish to carry on with the pissing match, should exchange e-mail addys and continue this nonsense via the said platform.

Maybe a mod should tell someone to stop accusing people of incorrect statements.

I sent you a PM in response to your PM. If you would like to continue this endless battery and useless rants, at this point, why not do so off-line? Consider what I say for the true benefit of others., if that is a real concern.

There is only ONE person ranting in this thread. I don't know how posting what a Mobil 1 rep says VERBATIM is "ranting". If asking for a logical explaination to information that clearly contracts his information (that's not written) is ranting, so be it.

Come on guys. You all can do a lot better discussing something like this.

Andy is right....The pissing match will stop and not be tollerated on these threads.
If you have any issues and arguments, take it private

I've left the thread open for any more normal discussion. If it digresses to warring again, it will be closed and suspensions will be handed out.

Colin.

Because, if I may, that forum is far from unbiased and has individuals who, (admittedly), work for the Big Oil industry and have a vested interest. I have seen altered laboratory oil analysis reports where the oil analysis laboratory name, address and phone number is hidden, (one must ask why this is needed?!), and the oil analysis technicians comments were omitted. This is not good information at all, it's fraudulent. So in this forum I have posted this information for the benefit of all the forum members, so they are not led astray and hoodwinked.
