Cool Alternator pulley help!!!!

I purchased an under drive pulley for rwd vq35de but own a fwd vq35de, will it work and what belt would I use? I didnt pay much so I could always resell it or use it as a paper weight but hoping otherwise.

OK, I'll jump in on this one... If you only got an alternator pulley as your title suggests, use the same belt you had before. If you got a crank pulley (or the complete set) you would need a smaller belt which is available from Stillen (and others).Stillen Underdrive Belt

Than ks for the reply, appreciate it. I only got the alt at this time. Does it matter if its fwd or rwd? Might try and put it on tonight.

In that case - I don't know. I would expect it to be the same if it is a vq, but I make no guarantees. You'll find out when you put it on.
