Project: BUILT VH45DE TT on a G coupe
I see your six pistons and raise you two...
Many of you might have seen a few of my pics around and I was holding out until most of the custom parts were done being fabricated.
I guess the title is self explanatory. Take a 1991 Infiniti Q45 V8, tear it apart, rebuild it with all new parts, add custom manifolds, fabricate mounts, add a 5 speed tranny and two Schwitzer turbos to make a reliable 800+whp daily driven G35 coupe.
The bottom line:

Valve Covers Polished:

OEM VH rod vs Pauter:

Pistons meet rods:

Calico CT-1 Coated Race bearings

Custom Intake and Exhaust Flanges:

Twin JGS Precision 56mm BOV's:

More updates to come...

I took some quick measurements of a motorless Z and the mounts *should* fit right in. I saw Kel's thread and he did some trimming to his strut towers but again, from my measurements I'm lead to think this is not a necessary step.
Hood clearance is not a problem at all. I'm not using the OEM "spyder" plenum.
