So at the end of the day all this hype about a Motrodyne spacer adding 13hp, hfc/tp +9-12hp, etc means that in real world situations our cars are gaining sht.

I may go the 335I route now. The reason why Im all into this is because I think a respectable sports car should do mid -low 5s. I know first hand it can be done but at what costs?

Example. Just yesterday I raced a 05up Maxima and it wasnt like I clearly beat him, another time newer TL and it was neck & neck.....kinda imbarrasing

I can tell you what a typical full bolt-on G35 + tune would most likely be capable of in the 1/8 & 1/4 mile in ideal conditions. But I don't pay attention to 0-60's; only source I hear them from are magazines & manufactures

.
Here.

thats a lie, i went 14.5 stock all night my first time at the track! i got the slips to prove it 2 and i plan on bringing my 60 down so i will hit low 14's, maybe even high 13's with a real good 60...

This is about the worst numbers a G35 has gotten in reviews. For a "fair" comparison, since you did state times that were pretty much top notch for a magazine review of the other cars you mentioned, the G35 has gotten a magazine best of 14.2 @ 101 mph for both sedan & coupe.

I think you probably got the wrong car. Entry level Sports cars = S2000, 350Z, STi, EVO, Mustang GT, etc. Entry level luxury sport cars = G35, IS350, 335i, etc.

If you want bang for your buck in performance, look into the sports car market. I got a G35 Coupe 6MT because I think its a perfect blend of class, looks, style, performance, and comfort. I did not get it in hopes of outperforming other more expensive and/or more dedicated sports cars.

0.2 seconds to 60 isn't what I consider "destroy". I think Klubbheads and many others will agree. The G is faster, but it won't run laps against a TL.

I don't really like bench-racing unless its completely necessary; don't think its necessary with the track experience I've had with othe cars.
