I think you probably got the wrong car. Entry level Sports cars = S2000, 350Z, STi, EVO, Mustang GT, etc. Entry level luxury sport cars = G35, IS350, 335i, etc.
If you want bang for your buck in performance, look into the sports car market. I got a G35 Coupe 6MT because I think its a perfect blend of class, looks, style, performance, and comfort. I did not get it in hopes of outperforming other more expensive and/or more dedicated sports cars.
0.2 seconds to 60 isn't what I consider "destroy". I think Klubbheads and many others will agree. The G is faster, but it won't run laps against a TL.
I don't really like bench-racing unless its completely necessary; don't think its necessary with the track experience I've had with othe cars.

You stated yourself that you bought your G for class, looks, style, performance, and comfort and so did I. Thats why Im comparing 3 cars that are in the direct target market. I never once compared a G coupe to a F430, 911Turbo,EVO, Mustang. I'm not a cronic crackhead like "Meat heads" I know what cars are in what class as per my original post and I hope that we both agree the 335I,IS350, S4 are "Luxury Sports cars".

Before someone chimes in and says turbo or twins, etc, all I want are reasonably cheap bolt ons. What I had in mind was 5/16 spacer, hfc/testpipes, and true dual catback. Will this setup do the trick?
Thanks for any opinions.

fast and furious y0! serious, just get NOS and make sure you're always on that button

no way in hell, basic bolt-ons gonna do the trick.. well, unless either of the mentioned cars happen to have MAJOR wheel spin or uummm get a flat tire! other than that, you're gonna be seeing their asses 99.9% of the time
Aced16 - The past: 03 Touring Z 6MT Blacked Out, with Orange Leather! May She RIP.......The Present:04G Coupe 6MT Graphite, With Black Leather... let the modding begin!!!
Another cursed used G market owner and the worst part former 350z owner. Ughh, u must be from my350z.com. Douchebag.

Everyone always looks at adding power, but never traction
Add some M&H DRs and you should be able to get a very healthy launch and keep up or actually outrun them in 0-60.
Or you could just face the music and understand that other cars will be faster and that it gets very expensive if you want to beat your friends. The IS350 and 335i are sweet cars, but they're freaking expensive. Paying $50K just so you can beat your friends seems a bit silly.
