The software engineers get better and better in detecting felony emission tampering and protecting you from fraudulently applying for and receiving a passing emission certificate.

What the hell is an ACU?

Rob, did you use 2 spark plug non-foulers? I have an 2006 and have not experienced any problems with it. You may want to pull your positive battery cable (10mm wrench/socket), press the brake pedal in about 10 times (all the way) so that you discharge the capacitors and the stored enery. That is the quickest way I've found to reset the ECU (I have not even attempted the pedal reset).

Like everyone one asked, did you reset your ECU after the non-fouler install? I would do the pedal method. It's quicker than any other method...takes less than a minute if you do your timing right.

His question has nothing to do with this... we're not trying to trick anyone but the ECU. And the non-foulers are proven to work on many wideband sensor equiped VQ35's
