Story:
I went down to China town in Oakland, CA with my sister to have some noodles for dinner.
After the satisfying meal we got in the car and headed home while having joyous conversation.
But then suddenly while i was driving i noticed that my car seemed to vibrate on throttle a lot
more than usual. Whenever I hit 1000rpm it made a rattling noise from the engine but sounded
normal on higher revs. I thought there was something wrong with my aftermarket bumpers
rubbing against the tires or something in those lines because it was vibrating violently. Short after
we parked the car and popped the hood + inspect the car but it there was no visual problems. But
when I turned the car off and on again, the vibrations on certain RPMs were gone but I began
to hear funny noises in the exhaust pipes. It seemed like there were something bouncing around inside the mid-pipes
while i was driving. After couple minutes of driving the problems were apparently gone but still
got me worried about the condition of my baby.
I'm thinking since I parked on the street some A$$ put something down my exhaust. I'm never gonna street park in China Town
But other than my weep story, could anyone help me identify the problem???

the G has a high compression motor 10:1 that needs HIGH octane to perform to its potential...put a tank of super unleaded 93+ and see how it runs then...if you don't hear anything then that was the problem...if you still hear it then you have a different problem.

I had something similar that freaked me out. Had my car on a lift and found out my y-pipe was banging against the chassis on the driver side! So they loosened up the bolts and twisted it to clear it better.
If you can, get your car on a lift and rev the engine and check for clearance of your exhaust.

We don't get 93 in CA, we only get 91.
Is it still happening?
