Check engine light on after MREV2

My Check Engine Soon light came on today about 50 miles after getting work done on the car. I had the MREV2 installed yesterday and had dismal dyno results. Not saying its the MREV in anyway, but rather something with the install...

Anyone else had this happen?

Tony from Motordyne gave me some suggestions to tell the shop that installed it but just curious if others had this issue and what was the solution.

you need to check the OBD2 port with a scanner to see what the code is.

That is the first thing to do!

there shouldn't be any reason to get a CEL with that mod. trust me......I have had my manifold on an doff my engine so many times, I have the torque sequence memorized along with the torque specs for each bolt. I've never had a check engine light, either.

Where are you located? Maybe get someone else who's installed a spacer to take a look at it, since the shop may not have installed it right. My spacer went on fine, no issues.

Did they reset the ECU? Any chance they dirtied up the TB, or messed up the TB sync?

Are you sure you reconnected all the appropriate vacuum lines?? Check your work, then reset the computer. (disconnect the negative battery terminal, and depress the brake pedal)

Code was run and supposedly was the 02 sensor. Took it out and dried it and light went away (it's been raining for a few days here). Just coincidence in timing I guess...
