Hey everyone I'm from Louisiana and I am looking to put a Vortech on my G35 in a couple of months. What is the closest shop around with a good reputation. Can anyone recommend me to one? Somewhere in Texas is fine to.

Wh0o0a never heard of that place, i dont know if theres any good shops around you. You MIGHT have to ship it out of states But if you want to ever bring it to Cali, got plenty of good shops down here.

 

I'm thinking more of houstan,TX or somewhere nearby. I live 3hrs away but I don't mind the trip there since I've been there.

 

Yeah a small town over here. Not much modified rides here. But if you do have one, it like you're a star here....everyone knows you. Not much G or Z's over here also. I am one of the only G that is fixed up and the other 2 or girls. But the rides get admired all the time by people of all age here. I love the spotlight. So now I am looking for more power, to run with the V8s....LOL

 

Call EDO Performance in Huntington Beach, CA, ask for Danny and he'll work out a deal with you for a price you cant resist, they got super good deals. My car is going in this weekend for the supercharger install. Put it this way, i got a quote a while back for a Vortech installed, everywhere i go people quote me from 75-100 an hr and its about 10hrs labor, EDO charged me 550 total for just the install labor on the Vortech

 

well i have two shop here in Lafayette, Louisiana that can do the install. One of them is AMS and I know they are very knowledgable with FI being that he own two 9 sec civics. But the thing is I think he can install the supercharger but he cant tune it for me since he doesn't know Z/Gs. I want to get the UTEC and have the installed and tune at the same time. I just want to get it all done and over with.

 

you also have to remember that if you dont have a shop nearby that can fix it when it breaks down, you are goin to be up shti's creek. esp if you dont have a spare to drive.

 

What are the chances of installing a Supercharger w/ tuning and having it break right there??? If you don't mind me asking....
