The only part you won't be able to use is the intake. Vortech makes a good choice when you've already gone the NA Bolt On Route. Everything still works when you slap the Vortech on.

a tune is always good to do, however you need to pick the right point in your modifying when to do it so that you aren't just wasting money because you will have to re-tune it again once you add more mods. If you don't plan on going FI a tune after you finish bolt-ons is definitely recommended. Search search search.

hey, gonna post a more detailed up date when i get a chance but the reflash at Technosquare went well. i pulled 246.5whp & 239.5wtq, doesn't sound that great, right? but it's actually really impressive considering i have an '03 5AT sedan, the earlier 6MT sedans only pulled 210whp/wtq stock. he said i would have gotten much better readings w/a manual or '04+up auto. the reflash gave me +18 peak hp and a much smoother/broader tq band. now it revs to 7k as apposed to the 6.5k red-line, big difference in manual mode. driving impressions on the way home where, it feels much closer to the '07+ sedans. maybe a little bit more agressive in the power delivery. i was hopeing to get around 250whp/wtq(around 300+ to the crank), but i'm pretty happy w/the results. esspessially after lookin' up some other people's bolt ons+reflash results. i would recommend it to anyone finished w/their engine mods. oh, yeah... they also reccomended i go w/one step colder plugs for the heat that goes w/the new power. thanks, Technosquare

This is me after spending like 3k in parts for my engine alone.. add 1-2k for installations.
i'd say screw NA, go FI!

the next step for me is either cams or stroker kit. I plan on staying NA. But its really costing me. ALL this just to prevent my engine from blowing up on me. However ive talked to many differen turbo/supercharger owners going 30-40k miles on their engine with FI. So it IS do-able if done right! TUNED correctly!

For 300hp NA. good luck!.. its not easy, or cheap. With the same money ur going to spend u can get closer to 400 easy going FI.

ITs up to u!

Short answer: no.

Adding cams would get you closer, but not quite there.

and still ur gonna get burned by a 335! hahaha

unless u go stroker ur not gonna hang with a 335. stroker kits cost more than FI, normally.

even with a stroker kit.. when the 335 chips with vishnu and adds an exhaust their at 420hp.. and ur once again toast!..

FI ftw!
