Which Engine Oil do you guys use

Which Engine Oil do you guys use when its time to change it?

I'd like to change it myself

ablout to switch from motul 8100 to mobil1 0w40. Pepboys had a special: 29.99 for 5 quarts and a mobil1 filter--good deal!

i use Royal Purple. I heard mobil1 sucks now... Motul is supposed to be real good too.

ummm, have you seen the oil analysis samples on my350z?

Mobil1 0w40 performed great, but the Motul oils did not fair so well at all, with indication of engine wear compared to less expensive, more readily available oils. Also the RP has performed like crap on the VQ engines according to oil analysis that have been submitted and posted.

I suggest you do your research before posting inaccurate and misleading information:

looks like its either pennzoil platinum 5w30 or m1 0w-40 ...

what about filter ?

If u can find the german castrol I would go with that. Mobil1 0w40 was actually my 3rd choice. 1. Amsoil 2. German castrol 3. Mobil1 0w40 my personal choices and many others.
