but i have heard time and time again how vq's go to **** as soon as you boost them no matter how good the parts you put in them i think a inline six is the way to go but dont get me wrong i love my motor just dont want it to be another porsche thing drive it hard one week and it sits in a shop for at least 2 weeks

I'd much rather have the Blue Devil SC'd LS v8 and start out with 650hp

Haven't found a g35 that it has been done in yet. If you find someone that is willing to do it and has experience you will get it done a lot cheaper than that. Because they know the money will roll in after words. Mine was going to be like 8 grand + my core for about 800whp.

i dont know who you have been talking too, but if you build our motors CORRECTLY with good parts and take it to a reputable shop who does great installs/builds and on top of that taking the car to a great tuner the motor should hold up fine. of course there will be problems with any FI setup but if you do it correctly you shuld be fine

There's been more than a few documented cases were the customer did just that and blew the motor sky high. Boosted VQs have a pretty steep(aka expensive) learning curve right now

now ur talking about sponsors sean, im talking straight up.

i can get the swap done for about 9k total without my core. 2jz in good condition with a 6speed tranny ur looking at around 6k just for that alone. so i dont think 2k in labor cuts it.

please do it. that motor would sit pretty in the G's engine bay, if i had money i would do that swap my self. IMO the 2jz is one of the best sounding inline six turbo motors out there, my friend had one in his 240 and all i can say is

The single turb alows you to run more power anyways, and you would have a bulletproof block.
do it.do it.do it!

what's wrong with swapping a RB26? They make just as much power?
